Circular on Providing Supplementary Materials for Health Code Application
2021-02-19 15:35

Given the current situation of COVID-19 pandemic across the world, international traveling is exposed to high risk of cross-infection of the coronavirus. In order to avoid the risks thus incurred, people travelling to China from New Zealand are requested to choose a non-stop flight, instead of travelling to China via a third country. Travellers from countries with direct flights to China must not transit New Zealand. To ensure all travellers meet the above-mentioned requirement, starting from 1 March 2021, travellers are request to provide their flight itinerary and valid New Zealand visas or residence permits, when applying for the health codes (health declaration forms).

The China-bound travellers shall make sure to provide the personal information and test results truthfully and correctly. The applicant shall be fully responsible for any failure of clearance or delay of flight boarding caused by false declaration. Any applicant who conceals health conditions and/or travel history intentionally, alters or forges test results will be liable to legal hazards.

To minimise infection risks during travel, the travellers are kindly suggested to take extra cautions to maintain personal health by way of enhancing close-circuit management. They are strongly advised against any gathering, dining, wining in shared public places.
