Notice of Temporary Office Closure Due to Covid-19

Due to the rise of the COVID-19 cases across New Zealand, the Consular Section of the Chinese Embassy in New Zealand will be closed from 7 February 2022 until further notice.  Applicants who have booked appointments for passport, visa, document notarisation and consular legislation services during the closure. You may submit your applications within 3 months after the office resume its normal office hours without needing to re-book appointments. 

Consular related enquires are still available during the temporary closure. Applicants can request for consular related services through the telephone or email in case of emergency, and the office will make proper arrangement based on the individual situation.
