Notice On Further Adjustment On Chinese Visa and Entry Requirement

Starting from 15 March 2023, the following changes will be implemented to facilitate the people-to-people exchanges between China and other countries.

1. Visa issued prior to 28 March 2020 can now be used to enter to China provided the visa is still valid.

2. All Chinese diplomatic and consular missions to resume issuance of all types of Chinese visa. For visa requirement please refer to the official website.

3. Visa may be granted at the port-of-entry in accordance with relevant law and regulation.

4. The following visa exemption programs are to resume:

l Visa-free entry policy to Hainan.

l Shanghai visa-free policy for cruise tour groups.

l Guangdong visa-free policy for guided tour groups for foreigner from Hong Kong SAR and Macao SAR.

l Guangxi visa-free policy for ASEAN tour groups.
