Chinese people's living standards have been improved dramatically. China's development over the past 70 years has not only benefited the 1.3 billion Chinese people, but also made significant contributions to world peace and prosperity. China would strengthen cooperation with the Cook Islands to jointly tackle these challenges. Cooperation between the two countries under the Belt and Road Initiative has broad prospects. In November last year, China and the Cook Islands signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation within the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative, which has injected new impetus into mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.

In November this year, the second China International Import Expo will kick off in Shanghai.
