On February 4, 2022, Ambassador Wang Xiaolong met with John McKinnon, Chair of the New Zealand China Council and former New Zealand Ambassador to China, exchanging views on China-New Zealand relations.

They both believed that China and New Zealand should continue to deepen our practical cooperation in all areas, adhere to openess and inclusiveness, and seek common ground while shelving differences, so as to promote the sound and steady development of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and create more benefits for the two countries and peoples.
