HE Amb Wang Xiaolong paid a call on Rt Hon Mallard, Speaker of the New Zealand Parliament

On March 30, HE Ambassador Wang Xiaolong paid a call on Rt Hon Trevor Mallard, Speaker of the New Zealand Parliament. The Speaker welcomed Ambassador Wang to New Zealand. 

They commended the development of the New Zealand-China relations through joint efforts  for bringing tangible benefits to both countries and peoples, stressing the significant role that the legislative bodies of the two countries play in promoting mutual understanding and mutually beneficial exchanges and cooperation. They affirmed that both sides are committed to marking the 50th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic ties by reflecting on progress made and charting the way forward, deepening the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between the two countries. They also exchanged views on international and regional issues of common concern.
