The Embassy and Consulates-General of China in New Zealand will participate in the "Chinese New Year Festival & Market Day" event on Feb 3 at Auckland for the first time, together with representatives from Chinese cultural centers, business community and media. During the event, we will present China's culture and scenery in various ways, introduce the state and potential of friendly exchanges and cooperation between China and New Zealand, and carry out interactive activities to share joy with everyone and jointly welcome the arrival of the Year of the Dragon. Friends from all walks of life are most welcome to join us.

The 2024 "Chinese New Year Festival & Market Day" will be held from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm on February 3rd at the Auckland Showgrounds with free admission ( Address: 217 Greenlane Road West, Auckland).The event is organized by the Auckland Chinese Community Centre and has been held in Auckland annually to welcome the arrival of Chinese New Year since 2002. It is currently one of the largest Chinese New Year market events in New Zealand, attracting tens of thousands of people from various communities to involve each year. It has grown into a signature event to celebrate the Chinese New Year in New Zealand.
