On May 15, Counselor Tang Jun, responsible for education, science and technology, and culture affairs at the Chinese Embassy in New Zealand, visited University of Canterbury and exchange views with Assistant Vice-Chancellor (Engagement) Brett Berquist and International Partnerships Manager Elizabeth Zou on further strengthening educational cooperation between the university and Chinese higher education institutions. Second Secretary for Education Wan Ding from the Chinese Embassy and Consul for Education Shen Jian from the Consulate-General in Christchurch were also present at the meeting.
