Ambassador Wang noted that China is the world's largest producer and exporter of new energy vehicles, providing a large number of high-quality and affordable electric models for the global market. This has directly helped more countries reduce their dependence on fossil fuels and lower greenhouse gas emissions. China and New Zealand share common goals in addressing climate change and promoting the use of new energy. New Zealand consumers’ growing demand for technological innovation and green products has created favorable market opportunities for Chinese new energy vehicle brands, including GAC. Chinese new energy vehicle companies will bring New Zealand consumers a wider range of high-quality and affordable products and services.
